The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of sassa status check clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area each day. The support position developed for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
